The sales module follows a customer request, turns it into an order and links it to production and shipping. While a quotation is prepared, the system suggests a price based on the actual cost of similar completed jobs and warns on lines that fall below your target margin.
If the price changes during negotiation, a new revision is opened and the previous one is kept. When the customer accepts, the quotation closes and an order is created, with a contract review step at that point. Work orders are opened from order lines.
Ready quantities are shipped, partial shipments are supported and the remaining quantity is tracked, with shipping tied to quality release. Invoices are not issued in the system: they stay in your accounting software and only the invoice number is recorded here.
