Why TIQERP

A comparison by category, data ownership and on-premises installation.

Three approaches on the market

When looking for production software you usually meet three categories, and each has a known weak spot.

Platforms that only monitor production

They collect machine data and show downtime and OEE, but quoting, stock, purchasing and costing are missing, so a separate ERP is needed. You end up connecting two systems, keeping the same bill of materials current in two places and dealing with two support lines.

General purpose ERPs

Strong on the commercial side, but unaware of shop floor reality: splitting an operation across two machines, changing operators mid-shift or opening a work order with scrap compensation either does not exist or requires custom development.

Cloud-first solutions

Quick to start, but production data leaves the factory. For shops working in the defence and aerospace supply chain this is often a knock-out criterion, and when the connection drops the terminal at the machine stops too.

Where TIQERP stands

  • One platform. Quoting, orders, stock, purchasing, work orders, terminal, quality, calibration, tool crib and costing on the same database.
  • On-premises. The system runs on the factory's own server; data stays inside and a closed network is supported. Initial setup and license activation need internet access, after which the system can go offline.
  • Perpetual right of use. A perpetual license plus annual maintenance. No charge per user and no license per terminal.
  • Designed for the shop floor. Routings are not fixed to the part, operations can be split, a job can be assigned to a machine only, and scrap compensation is an option on the work order.
  • Real cost. The duration and consumption of completed work feed back into quoted prices.
  • Measurement and tooling. Calibration management with impact analysis, and a tool crib covering request, issue, return, quarantine and regrinding.

Roadmap

Machine connectivity with OEE, locally running AI support and the intelligent tool cabinet are under development and are announced as upcoming. Nothing that does not exist today is presented as if it did; every screen you see in a demo is the working system.

One platform, set up for your factory

We listen to how you produce and decide together which modules you need. Installation is done on site and training is included.
