Production planning

Gantt scheduling, capacity calculation and material requirements, based on your real shift calendar.

Planning answers one question: can this order be delivered on the promised date, and if not, when will we know? The schedule puts open work orders on a machine and time axis where conflicts, capacity overload and sequence errors are flagged before anything reaches the floor.

Capacity is calculated from the shift calendar, not estimated: breaks and public holidays are deducted and shifts crossing midnight are supported. A machine under maintenance or reported broken loses its capacity for that period automatically.

Planned durations rarely hold exactly. The system derives an efficiency factor per machine from completed jobs and offers it as a suggestion; once accepted, the plan moves closer to what the floor actually does. Where history is thin, no factor is applied.

You work on a draft and publish when you are ready. Only a published schedule reaches the terminals, so a half-finished plan never confuses the shop floor. Assignments can be dragged between machines and hours, and an operation can be split across two machines so a free machine does not sit idle.
